Please forgive me for not following my schedule this week. The beauty of making my own set of rules lies in my ability to forgive myself when I don’t feel like following them. Today, I really want to share this image with you. I suspect this is some sort of mushroom growing on the jalapeno leaf. I love everything about this, especially the ability of the camera to capture the delicate shape.
Maybe it is the word “gas” in the name of this product combined with the big gust of wind under the lady’s skirt…
If anyone can explain this to me, I would be grateful.
Cherry flavoured dried sweetened cranberries?
Is the taste of dried sweetened cranberries so awful it needs to be masked with the flavour of cherries? Oh–wait–my bad, there isn’t any actual cherry flavouring in these, it comes from elderberry juice, which I suppose taste like cherries.
In case you can’t read it, the list of ingredients is as follows: cranberries, sugar, citric acid, natural flavors, elderberry juice concentrate, color.
I didn’t ask this major retailer to fill my mailbox–or the floor of my front hall–with printed pleas to spend money at their establishment, they do it of their own volition. After they foisted these unwanted pieces of paper on me, they leave the burden of its disposal upon me–and point out that I should recycle it!

I am back from southeast Asia and back in Savannah. The flowers have gone wild and my brain has gone to mush. No time to indulge the dingbat, but have to knuckle down and hit the books/art supplies since school has started again.
