Cherry flavoured dried sweetened cranberries?

Is the taste of dried sweetened cranberries so awful it needs to be masked with the flavour of cherries? Oh–wait–my bad, there isn’t any actual cherry flavouring in these, it comes from elderberry juice, which I suppose taste like cherries.

Why This Junk Mail Sucks…

Monday, May 5th, 2008

I didn’t ask this major retailer to fill my mailbox–or the floor of my front hall–with printed pleas to spend money at their establishment, they do it of their own volition. After they  foisted these unwanted pieces of paper on me, they leave the burden of its disposal upon me–and point out that I should recycle it!

One logo, two kinds of needles

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

In my constant vigil to be aware of all of the branding and logos that inundate my visual field, I have begun to fight back with a logo of my own. Not content to see it on rubber stamps and business cards, I have taken it one step further. I have branded my own self with my own brand.

The purple logo on the left has been machine embroidered (free motion), while the logo on the right has been tattooed on my right wrist.
